It's a Rough Life

Well summer is here and that means I am out of school! It also means that I get to stay up later as I don't have to get up so early. Last night Harrison and I were snuggling in bed just before he and Mark left the bedroom so I could go to sleep. It's a rough life we have!

A Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Harrison loves lazy Sunday afternoons. It's 5pm and he's played with the ball outside twice this afternoon, drank probably a gallon of water, and has finally laid down. His bed is in a great spot because he can see into the kitchen, living room, and office. He knows everything that's going on in between the loud snores...it's a rough life!

Goodbye Camry...

On Friday, April 18, we said goodbye to the Camry. We leased a new car and traded it in. It was a good car and had been through a lot with us. It lived in Maryland, New York, and Georgia. It maneuvered the New York City streets as good as a yellow cab and hauled the whole family from NYC to Atlanta when we moved last summer. We hope it will ends up in a good home!

Babysitting Claire

After we went to West Palm Beach, Barbara and Claire came back to Atlanta for a few weeks. I was lucky to get to babysit Claire for a few hours. I did my best to keep her happy - we played with toys, watched a little TV, and took some pictures. We kept to her schedule and she went down for a nap on time! Whew!

Spring Break Fun!

We spent a long weekend in March in West Pam Beach with hosts Barbara and Edgar Harty and some Saint David's friends: Shane and Sarah Kinsella, Jenny and Doug Heffer, and Meghan O'Donnell. We had such a good time! The weather was good so the girls laid out by the pool, while the boys played golf. And the little girls, Claire and Emma, behaved with the babysitters. Everything was great! We had the most amazing brunch on Sunday...there were so many things to eat that you had to come up with a game plan to cover them all! Thanks so much to Barbara and Edgar for having us!

"What is this white stuff?"

Even though this isn't the first time that Harrison has seen snow, he acts like it's a brand new experience! We both put on our coats and went for a walk. He just got a bath yesterday, but that didn't stop him from running through the snow and getting dirty! Isn't he cute in his coat?

It's snowing in Atlanta!

Can you believe it? It has snowed twice in one week! Mark keeps saying, "What is this? I thought we moved to the south! Where's the warm weather?" Well, I guess we brought the snow with us from NYC! This is the view looking out of our house into the courtyard. It's so pretty! You know how snow is though...pretty while it's falling and then it quickly becomes a mess! It's supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow so it will just be a distant memory by tomorrow evening...
